Slivenamon: 17th December 2009: 3:27 to 4:16pm.

The last 50 minutes of daylight on one of the shortest days of the year.

Sliabh na mBan is a magnificent, solitary mountain 2,364 feet high, rising above the plain in the southeast corner of County Tipperary.

Warm moist air from the plain rises up over the mountain and cools to form a highly mobile cloud mass. As the day draws to a close, higher clouds are sucked down to join the cloud mass below while the last light fades.
